Top 20: Masha.ai shortlisted for the Venture Technology Leaders Team - The decision

Zug, January 29, 2020

Since 2004, VentureLab designs and operates flagship startup programs such as Venture Kick, Venture Leaders, TOP 100 Swiss Startup Award, Innosuisse Start-up Trainings to support the best entrepreneurial talents. Their goal is, in collaboration with successful founders, leading academic and industry partners, bringing the best startups to success.

Over the past 15 years, VentureLab has been selecting the Swiss National Startup Teams. Their alumni include high-flying startups such as Lemoptix and Composyt Light Labs (acquired by Intel), Faceshift (acquired by Apple), HouseTrip (acquired by TripAdvisor), Kooaba (acquired by Qualcomm) or Dacuda (acquired by Magic Leap), GetYourGuide and many more.

A Venture Leader has a clear-cut goal, envision themselves as a global player and want to take the first step towards their global expansion. The investor and industry roadshows are specifically structured to help to achieve this goal.

"We are very proud, and thankful to the VentureLab and the jury to have shortlisted Masha.ai as 1 of the 20 Venture leaders for 2020," says Frederik Van Lierde, Founder of Masha.ai

"We are grateful, even we didn't make it to the top 10, as this shortlisting will boost our expansion and will put another Swiss Startup on the radar. We will do everything possible to give Swiss a future success. We will collaborate with other Swiss startups to provide the 'Made In Switzerland' brand even more visibility" Frederik Van Lierde continues.

We will update this post, the moment the official press release is out announcing the top 10! Congrats to them upfront
